The Beginning: A Lifelong Passion for Dodge
Ever since I was in high school back in 2006, I knew Dodge was something special. Every morning, as I walked to school, I would pass by this brand-new, all-black Dodge Charger sitting in a driveway—clean, aggressive, and unlike anything else on the road at the time. It was rare, and it instantly caught my attention. That car became my dream. I told myself that one day, I would own something just like it. I wanted that bold, boxy Charger that stood out from everything else.
It wasn’t until May 2013, after returning home from a deployment in Afghanistan, that I finally got the chance to make my dream a reality. I bought my first Dodge Charger—a 2012 SE. It wasn’t the top-tier model, but I didn’t care. I had a Charger, and that was everything to me. I fully customized it—eight TV monitors, subs, outside PA speakers, chrome wheels, and wheel lights. When I pulled up, I felt like a force to be reckoned with! Back then, the Dodge scene wasn’t what it is today. The lineup was simpler—SE, SXT, R/T, and the rare SRT8. But then came the Scat Packs, the Hellcats, and Dodge became an unstoppable force in the car world.
I remember one moment that changed everything for me. A Chrysler 300 SRT pulled up beside me one day, teasing my V6 Charger, knowing I couldn’t keep up. That’s when I realized—I needed more power. My Dodge journey wasn’t over; it was just getting started.
Building the Dodge Life Community
Nearly five years later, while on a TDY deployment in South Korea in July 2018, I started thinking bigger. Instagram was different back then—mainly focused on pictures, not videos. I wanted a way to keep myself motivated while I worked toward my next car. So, I created an Instagram page dedicated to the Dodge Charger lifestyle. I couldn’t think of a name at first, but I knew this was about more than just a car—it was about a way of life. That’s when I came up with Dodge Charger Life (@dodgechargerlife).
I started posting some of the best builds I could find—crazy wraps, custom wheels, performance monsters. I gave shoutouts to the dopest builds out there, and the page started growing fast. Finally, I got my 2018 Dodge Charger Scat Pack, and it was one of the most exciting moments of my life. (Yeah, the interest rate was 18%, but who cares—I had my dream car!)
From Dodge Charger Life to Dodge Life Official
By 2023, I knew I wanted more than just an Instagram page posting viral videos. The competition was fierce, and I wanted to build something bigger—something that wasn’t just about Chargers but about the entire Dodge lifestyle. So, I rebranded Dodge Charger Life into what it is today—Dodge Life Official.
Now, Dodge Life Official is here to stay. This isn’t just about posting cars—it’s about growing a community, celebrating the culture, and making Dodge enthusiasts feel like they have a home. We’re building something bigger than just a feature page; we’re building one of the best Dodge communities in the game.
